ABOUT THE PROJECT

Caritas Kielce in the years 2014 - 2017 realizes the project of termal efficiency improvement with the installation of Solar Panel and electric mirrors in several of its facilities.

Solid insulation of buildings, saves almost a half of the consumption of heat, reducing power consumption, and therefore exhaust emissions and dust. That's the most important objectives of the program entitled. "Thermal efficiency improvement of buildings of Caritas, together with the installation of solar and photovoltaics realized within the EEA Financial Mechanism ie the Norwegian Grants".

The main objective of the project is to insulate walls, ceilings, replacement of windows and doors. In addition, it provides for modernization of central heating and installing in three facilities Solar Panel for hot water. In Proszowice will be installed 74 photovoltaic mirrors that in the summer should fully meet the demand for electricity.

Generally, the result of the project will save almost a half of the heat and reduce the consumption of electricity, which will help in the protection of the environment by reducing exhaust emissions and dust from coal combustion.

The value of the project amounts to 2,350 thousand zlotych, of which 80% will be covered by the EEA Financial Mechanism (ie Norwegian Grants) through the National Fund for Environmental Protection.
